The disclaimer on this site reads, "I am not Jay Leno. Don't send me his fan mail. This page is only the authors tribute." But what a tribute! Webmaster Nicolai Jørgensen has dug up more info on Leno than Ken Starr did on Clinton.

From his 1939 Broadway show, Yokel Boy, through his forty year film career, to his innumerable t.v. appearances, Phil Silvers has done it all. And the amazing Comedyorama site covers the whole shebang.

Site creators Joe Bevilacqua and Lorie Kellogg have put together an incredibly comprehensive collection of  Silver's creative genius as a  singer, dancer, comedian, actor, songwriter and composer (he co-wrote Sinatra's 'Nancy With The Laughing Face'). You'll also find magazine covers, movie stills, filmographies, articles, tributes and lotsa links to other quality Silvers sites. What claims to be "a non-official website celebrating the talents of Phil Silvers," is more than mere trivia for the starry-eyed. It is a sweeping history of the world of entertainment's 'Top Banana'. We're sure that Philip Silversmith of New York City would approve when we proclaim Comedyorama/Phil Silvers a YUKS CERTIFIED SITE!

We all know that James Douglas Muir Leno owns thirty-five classic cars, but did you know that his wife Mavis owns a cat named Cheesler? Headier stuff prevails, however, with a complete bio, articles on the Leno/Letterman shootout, a page dedicated to Kevin Eubanks and the Tonight Show band, a Leno filmography, fan mail info, Leno links, and more, more, more!
